We custom designed many systems & products for Specific customer factory & automation applications:

a) Vacuum Units to replace the existing PIAB units to save on high maintenance cost and breakdowns. All these units have been working for 6 years without ANY additional maintenance and costs.

b) Plug Isolator Resistance. The average value was determined and only the FAIL or PASS signal was send to the main ALLEN BRADLEY PLC in 2 milliseconds.

c) Clear plastic film (40µm) Ultrasonic through beam detector to stop film breakage and buildup on wrapping rollers. Could also be used for other applications were photo sensors are not practical.

d) Water Bubble generator with specific size, gap and quantity control for laboratory and field tests for UNIVERSITY Pretoria used at The Department of Water Affairs.

e) Custom weighing and filling system for liquid and paint production plant.

OEM (Original Equipment manufacturers & Machine builders –LOW COST)

    a)  Motors, drives, sensors, & electronic controls for LABEL MACHINES- OEM International export –continuous for three OEM’s.

b)  Design of full electronic machine control with Keypad, display, interface, and motor drives for OEM local and International export DIAMOND CUTTING MACHINES - continuous for one large OEM.

c)  On order from 225 PLASTICS (PTY) LTD in Industria JHB a turnkey design and manufacture was done of an Injection Mould Controller to replace AUTOMA controllers from ITALY. The initial units were installed in FEB 2002 and the final design in June 2002.

The machines have done full production since March 2002 and the complete design with interface to a Siemens S5 PLC was successful. These controllers could replace all AUTOMA Controllers on these injection mold machines as plug and play units.

The board consists of:

> Voltage controller for board, Keypad Interface

> Analog input for Mould position sensing

> 6 x PNP Opto-Isolated 2500 Outputs to Interface to Siemens S5

> Programmable Logic Controller

OUR OWN BRAND EQUIPMENT RANGE

1) At this moment, we are developing a Camera Vision system for quality control. For our customer ROBERT BOSCH it will specifically be used for component presence checking and polarity of capacitors. The vision system will later include component measurement and possible solder defect detection. This will be without programming by the customer, but by master sample comparison.

2) Ultrasonic Ranging system for distance measurement, with liquid crystal display screen. The actual object distance is shown on the screen with adjustable set points that could be used to switch equipment as desired. Custom modification and designs could also be done for OEM’s.

3) Ultrasonic Through- Beam detector for clear plastic films, glass, and non-standard objects. Also customizable to requests.

4)  Hundreds of our Stepper Drives (3 and 5 amp) have been sold for local use and on export machines. Also included in these packages are custom controls and multi axis controllers to suit customer requirements.5) Panel meters, transmitters, and displays of various sizes and functions.
